Dalmatia, also known as the pearl of Adriatic sea, is known for its natures diversity: mountain chains, beaches, open sea, wild rivers and its canyons, beautiful Mediteranian islands, deep lakes and undiscovered underwater caves.
Dalmatia is divided in to 3 parts: North Dalmatia, Central Dalmatia and South Dalmatia.
North Dalamtia refers to the part od Dalmatia between island Pag and a small town Primošten. It's center city is Zadar, but there are also a numerous places from Roman empire that make an interesting part of tourist offer. Except from islands you will also find National parks like Kornati.
Central Dalmatia begins between river Krka on northwest and Makarska Riviera on the south. The main town of central Dalmatia is Split. Magnificent coast, numerous islands and crystal sea make this part od Dalmatia an attractive tourist region.
South Dalmatia is maybe the most unique part of Dalmatia, it extends from Makarska riviera to Čilipi. South Dalmatia is mostly known for it's center town Dubrovnik. Islands in this part of Dalmatia are the farthest in whole of the Adriatic sea. The untouched nature, old towns and its history will leave you speechless.
